I purchased a subscription but I can’t access the paid content. What should I do?

Please check if you have the latest version of Tappity installed on your device by looking at our App Page and iOS 15+. To find your app’s version number, tap on the Menu, then tap on Customer Support and look at the bottom right hand corner. Then, ensure you’re logged into your Tappity account by logging out and logging back in. If this still does not solve the issue, please email us at hey[at]tappityapp.com and we will fix this right away.

I have a new device but I can’t access my Tappity subscription on it. What should I do?

After you open up Tappity on your new device, please tap on the Menu button on the home screen. Then, using the account details that you created when you first purchased your subscription, log into your account by tapping on Log In or Sign In. If the content isn’t unlocked right away, please close and reopen the app.

I want to purchase a subscription in the app but the buttons and prices are disabled and/or don’t appear. What should I do?

You may have enabled parental settings that prevent in-app purchases. To make the purchase, you can disable these settings temporarily, and the buttons should work again. If you need help still, please contact us at hey[at]tappityapp.com.

How do I download content for offline use?

Simply tap on the Menu, then Offline Media, and finally select which content you'd like to download to play later!

Can I play Tappity on desktop (e.g. Chromebooks, laptop, desktop)?

Yes! With your membership, you also have access to our web app. Simply open one of your preferred internet browsers and visit: https://play.tappityapp.com. Then, sign-in with your account, and you should be able to access Tappity!

I’ve forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

You can reset your password from your mobile device or on our website.

  • On Mobile: Open the app, and tap on Forget Password from the Parent Menu. Enter the email you used for your account and we’ll send you an email to reset your password.

  • On Desktop: You can reset your password on our website here: https://app.tappityapp.com/pw-forget

I want to cancel my subscription. How do I do this?

We’re sorry to see you go! Depending on where you purchased a subscription, here’s how:

  • If you purchased a subscription via an in-app purchase, please follow the instructions here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

  • If you purchased a subscription on our website, please login to our website here, click on “Parent Menu,” then “Your subscription,” and then click on “Cancel Subscription.”

  • For customers from Swagbucks, please login to our website here, click on “Parent Menu,” then “Your subscription,” and then click on “Cancel Subscription.”

How do I get a refund?

TAPPITY INDIVIDUAL / SUBJECT APPS

What’s the difference between Tappity and the individual subject apps?

Tappity is our flagship app, which contains the same content from all our subject apps plus more. To unlock all the content within Tappity, you’ll need to purchase a subscription, which also grants you our weekly content updates as well.

Our individual “subject” apps are for families looking to learn about a specific subject. To unlock all the content in a subject app, you will be prompted to make a one-time purchase. They do not require a subscription.

If I purchase a Tappity subscription, do I have access to the individual apps?

No, when you purchase a subscription to Tappity, you will only have access to the content within Tappity. They are different products. The good news is that all the content in all our individual subject apps can also be found within Tappity, so there’s no need to for these individual apps.

DEVICE COMPATIBILITY

My app is crashing. What should I do?

Check to see if your iPad is pre-2014. If it is, we currently do not support your device. If it is 2014 or newer please contact us with more details about what triggers your crash.

PROFILES

What is the Profiles feature?

If you have more than one child using Tappity, you can track their progress individually by creating a profile for each child under a single account. You can create as many profiles as you’d like.

How do I set up a Profile?

Ensure you have the latest version of Tappity installed on your device. Once you do, tap on the Menu button on the home screen, and tap on Create Profiles. Then, simply enter the information about your child and save it.

What happens to my child’s progress when I create a new profile?

When you create a new profile, existing progress isn’t carried over. Existing progress will not be affected but a new profile will contain no data, and it’s like starting Tappity from a blank slate.

TAPPITY GIFT MEMBERSHIPS

How do I redeem my Tappity gift subscription code?

1. Create a Tappity account on https://app.tappityapp.com/signup

2. Click on My Account at the top right hand corner

3. Enter your promo code under Promo Code

4. Download Tappity to your device from the App Store

5. Login with your account credentials

6. You now have full access to Tappity. Tap on a science topic to begin!

What happens after my gift subscription period ends?

After the gift subscription is completed, you will no longer have access to Tappity. If you’d like to continue access to Tappity, you may sign-up for a subscription.

Can the gift subscription be used for multiple kids?

Yes! The gift subscription gives one account (i.e. email address) unlimited access to Tappity for the designated period of time. If you have more than one child who would like to use Tappity, then you’ll just need to create additional profiles for each child!

Can I use the gift subscription on multiple devices?

Yes! You can login to multiple devices with the same login credentials you created when you redeemed your subscription. As long as your account has an active membership, then you can access Tappity on all the devices.

Which devices does Tappity support?

Tappity is currently only supported on iOS devices with iOS 15+.
