1. Book a class
Choose a Small-Group Adventure class (45-mins) with your favorite Tinkerer on our online booking tool. Don’t forget to print out the activity sheet before the class!
2. Embark on an adventure
On the day of your mission, you’ll join your favorite Tinkerer and up to 6 other kids on an exclusive video chat. Together, you’ll investigate, ask questions, and participate in fun group activities with your team.
3. Celebrate with rewards
After the class, we’ll mail you a signed certificate, a special badge and a sticker set to commemorate the day. Each adventure offers a different set of rewards, so join us again to collect them all!

What is a Small-Group Adventure?
Small-Group Adventures is a brand-new product from Tappity for kids who want to meet & learn from our Tinkerers in small, 45-minute live online classes. Each session is capped at 6 kids, which means every child gets a highly personalized learning experience and the opportunity to get to know each other. In each session, Tinkerers lead kids through a narrative-driven class, where they’ll deep dive into a science topic together and participate in group activities along the way. At the end of the class, kids will earn badges, a certificate, and we’ll even mail them a set of stickers!
How much is a Small-Group Adventure?
Currently, our Adventure Group classes are priced at $29.99/class per child.

Do I need to take the classes in order?
Small-Group Adventures are designed to be taken in any order.
How are Small-Group Adventures different from Tappity Live lessons in the app?
Small-Group Adventures are live face-to-face online classes, so kids can meet and talk to the Tinkerer over video chat. Moreover, these are small scheduled group sessions capped at 6 kids, which means kids can interact with one another, too!
Is there a minimum age to participate in a Small-Group Adventure class?
Our classes are designed for kids between 5-9.
Will my child get to interact with the Tinkerer?
Yes! We’ve designed these intimate group sessions so kids can meet their favorite Tappity Tinkerer and engage in conversation! You’ll just need to enable voice and video on your device.
Do we need special software to participate?
The sessions will take place over Google Meet, a browser-based video conference tool. You’ll need internet access with speeds fast enough for streaming video. During the session, we recommend using your desktop or laptop computer or a tablet! As long as you have a browser (e.g. Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firework), you will not need to download any extra software. After your purchase, you’ll be sent instructions with the link to the conference room and a calendar invite to remind you of your class!
Is video required in order to participate?
While we encourage you to turn on the microphone and video so that classes are more immersive, it is not mandatory!
Do we need any special materials for each class?
We ask that your child comes prepared with drawing implements & the printables printed out. Please also refer to the class description and confirmation email, which will list out any special materials.
How do I receive my certificate and stickers?
After the class, we’ll email you with a survey. Please complete this form, so we know where to send your child’s rewards to.

If I have more than one child, can they all join?
They can join in as long as a spot is booked for each child. We have a strict cap of 6 kids per class to ensure a high degree of personalization and attention. In addition, we ask that each child have their own device during the session.

What is the cancellation policy?
If you let us know 24 hours before the class is scheduled to begin, we’ll refund you 100%. Otherwise, classes are non-refundable.
The available times don’t fit in my schedule. Are there other times available?
If you don’t see times that work for your family, please email us with dates/times that work best for you, and we’ll try to accommodate!
My kids aren’t interested in the topics offered. Will you offer other topics?
Yes! We’re working on expanding the topics we cover, and we’ll update them on our scheduling tool and notify you over email. If you don’t see anything you like, please feel free to email us with topics your kids might be interested in learning more!

If you subscribed via the App Store: Tap on “Parent Menu” in Tappity’s iOS app, “Change Subscription,” and then select a plan that best suits your needs.
If you subscribed on our website: Log into your account here. Click “Parent Menu,” then “Your subscription,” and then “Update your subscription” to the plan that suits your needs.
